Carrie Witherell's collection "Relics"

Relics was cool to me because I love drawing animals and human forms and this was unique, she created kindof a x-ray thing with each figure. There would be the outline of the animal along with the bone structure or skeleton. It's really creative and could very well influence me in any newer drawings I could have.

"Old School Heroes" By Fab Ciraolo

I found this collection while blogging on my other blog the other day, and I thought it would be perfect to post on here because of how cool I thought it was.
So basically some popular Hanna Barbara or well known 80's- 90's cartoon characters were remade (along with the one care bears picture) in a modern look, as if the artist were trying to show, "hey this is what our 90's heroes have been doing all this time". I thought it was cool because im into retro stuff, plus embarrassingly enough my childhood was filled with playing with those old he-man action figures or watching thundercats & space ghost (along with "space ghost coast to coast") like a nerd.

Chilean artist Fab Ciraolo has drawn out "Rainbow Brite", "Masters Of the Universe Characters", "Thundercats", "Birdman", "Space Ghost" with a hipster-like outer space background.
LOLOL Lion-O is lookin' pretty fly with that plaid coat on.

Hilarious 60's Spiderman (Retro Spiderman) Screencaps

Well I've been seeing these around the internet for awhile now but I thought more people should know about them due to the fact that they are just too funny.
Basically what people do, is they take a screen cap from any episode of The old 60's Spiderman cartoon show and put a caption on the image pertaining to what you see.
LOLOL here are some of them:

Tim Noble and Sue Webster's "Shadow Art" collection created from shapeless sculptures.

I found these really cool how they took a nonsense, no shape sculpture and managed to create a shadow shape. It seems like a really easy concept but when I think about it...I dont think I would've thought about doing something like this, so that's why its so unique to me.
It was called the "Incredible Shadow Art Created from Junk" Created by two british artists; Tim Noble and Sue Webster. They have multiple peices..I think seven or eight from what I've seen (there may be more) that show emotion in the shadow people certain sculptures make or the "darker side of  humanity" as said from an article and collection from www.environmantalgraffiti.com

#1 "Dipsticks,The Humans" and "Dipsticks, The Animals" by Nick van Woert

"Dipsticks The Humans", is just a bunch of paint figurines that represent human or life-form bodies. I couldn't find anything on how it was made, although I think the name kinda makes it go without saying that the artist dipped the base figure in paint, once or multiple times and let the paint make its own shape. The artist Nick van Woert does a lot of sculptures using paints and molded figures which a lot of them are too interesting to not look at, but I chose this collection because its not only an adorable piece, its free-form, the colors are vibrant and solid and its unique. To be honest, id love to be able to feel the texture of them, because they look seemingly smooth and bumpy to the touch and the colors make it look like a child's toy. The middle one with the peach color reminds me of those old two inch tall 90's figurines called "M.U.S.C.L.E. Men" that looked like these:

But not only has this artist made human forms, but has also made animal forms...

"Dipsticks, The Animals" are still free-form up until the feet or legs of the figurine, which help the audience make out what kind of animal it might represent.
Personally, my favorites would be the dinosaur figurine and the one that I made out to be either a black bear or a rhinoceros. The details on the dinosaur's tail are really cool and I love the deep black color and shine on the second figure.

6. The Illuminati theory (New world order and the manipulation of the entertainment media)

The Illuminati theory isnt something I believe in, Its kinda like an interesting tale, or a scary story. I just find it something fascinating to read about because of how well it matches up in reasoning. So while reading this, even though it might sound HILARIOUS, It more than likely isnt real and is just for entertainment. it's somewhat the story people use to blame all the bad things that happened in the past or to blame mistakes by politicians or even the state of the U.S economy (I mean, do you really think someone would take the time to do all this?) but its still worth knowing about. The Illuminati conspiracy is a rumor that a one government, global elite society is slowly achieving new world order by the use of higher powers such as well known politicians, celebrities, musicians and government workers...which basically means they "manipulate" their popularity and existance to push forth "new world order" in subliminal messages and use of money and government power to change the way our society runs based on the so called "ignorance of the people". (LOLOLOL) the saying "sell your soul to the devil for fame" plays into this as well, they say that the ones who gain fame but refuse are eliminated. and its said that the celebrities or well known people who "figure this plan out" or "become an obstacle" are eliminated thus began the idea that the deaths of Tupac Shakur, Martin Luther King, John F Kennedy and so on, were caused by this group.

Here is what "http://www.gotquestions.org/" has summerized what usually is told of how all this started:

"If one were to attempt to summarize the Illuminati conspiracy, it would go something like this: The Illuminati began as a secret society under the direction of Jesuit priests. Later, a council of five men, one for each of the points on the pentagram, formed what was called “The Ancient and Illuminated Seers of Bavaria.” They were high order Luciferian Freemasons, thoroughly immersed in mysticism and eastern mental disciplines, seeking to develop the super powers of the mind. Their alleged plan and purpose is world domination for their lord (who precisely this lord is varies widely). The Illuminati are alleged to be the primary motivational forces encouraging global governance, a one-world religious ethic, and centralized control of the world’s economic systems. Organizations such as the United Nations, the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, and the International Criminal Court are seen as tentacles of the Illuminati. According to the Illuminati conspiracy, the Illuminati are the driving force behind efforts to brainwash the gullible masses through thought control and manipulation of beliefs, through the press, the educational curriculum, and the political leadership of the nations.
The Illuminati supposedly have a private board of elite, interlocking delegates who control the world’s major banks. They create inflations, recessions, depressions, and manipulate the world markets, supporting certain leaders and coups and undermining others to achieve their overall goals. The supposed goal behind the Illuminati conspiracy is to create and then manage crises that will eventually convince the masses that globalism, with its centralized economic control and one-world religious ethic, are the necessary solution to the world’s woes. This structure, usually known as “The New World Order,” will of course be ruled by the Illuminati"
Alot of these explanations spawned from this story have biblical roots that come from super religious people. They belive "satanism" has a play in this due to the fact that celebrities are being used to push their cause.

One of the biggest stories is Jay Z and Rihanna; there have been analyzations over their song "umbrella" that the song has hidden messages hinting at the illuminati's intentions using symbols and double meaning lyrics. Or maybe its just coincidental and people are just overreacting.

Here are some screenshots from the video that are "illuminati symbols":

To read about the article that analyzes their video "umbrella" google "occult and prophetic messages in rihanna's umbrella".
Also the story goes that these conspirators have started wars, market depressions, new diseases/ medical emergencies and public disasters to distract and confuse the public, and use the money given to stop these crisis' for their own benifit and because people put trust in them and accept the solutions these government "higher powers" it just puts them one step further in achieving "new world order". through corrupting and weakening the people of the world it gains the affected's trust in them and this also puts them one step further.

# 1 Bert Christensen's Weird, Strange & Just Plain Bad Art Collection

Im honestly not sure what the name of this piece is, but i've known about it for quite some time and its something I haven't really forgotten. Why? I don't really know, maybe I just like strange ideas like this one. I found it awhile back on a website called "weird, strange and just plain bad art". I don't think its considered "bad art" maybe weird but no art is truly "bad art" it depends on the opinions of the audience.

I like this one though not only because of my thing for the "weird or strange" but because its creative with the use of a parsnip...I guess it adds a little humor you know? Not quite sure why its having a teddy bear or stuffed animal taken out of it but theres gotta be a story were not seeing here, its one of those artworks where only the artist really knows what it was about haha.
